J. Kim joins Ajinomoto Foods North America as Chief Financial Officer. He has over 27 years of professional experience with a focus on food in both CPG and B2B. He started his career in auditing and continued developing into a senior finance executive. Jin has led the finance/accounting organization across Americas (North and South) and in Asia Pacific. He has also been involved in expansion projects in different countries and involved in M&A activities. He has a broad-based knowledge of finance, operations and sales. He is actively involved in developing teams and has mentored several finance and non-finance professionals.

He received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Northern Illinois University and his M.B.A from DePaul University – Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, he spent five years living in Asia Pacific. 1 year in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and 4 years in Singapore serving as CFO APAC.  In his free time, he enjoys hiking and fly fishing.
